Here’s a Facebook post that captures that big Disney magic energy while still tying in your travel heart and leadership vibe:

✨ The Vastness of Disney ✨

This week I’m flying across the country — chasing history, imagination, and the heartbeat of where it all began. From seeing Walt’s Los Angeles home where dreams were sketched at the dinner table… to walking the streets that inspired Disneyland… to standing where animation magic came to life at the Disney Studios.

The vastness of Disney never ceases to amaze me. It’s not just rides. It’s not just characters. It’s legacy. Vision. Risk. Creativity. A man who believed in possibility — and built worlds because of it.

And here’s what I love most… while I’m standing in the place where it all started, I’m still able to help a friend book their own Disney vacation. Because that’s the beauty of this dream — it stretches coast to coast. Past to present. Inspiration to experience.

Disney isn’t small. It’s generational. It’s historical. It’s innovative. It’s personal.

And I get to live in both spaces — learning the story… and helping others step into theirs. ✨

If you’ve ever wanted to walk where Walt walked, or just create magic for your own family, let’s talk. The dream is bigger than you think. 💫🏰

Love is in the air… and a little pixie dust makes it even sweeter. ❤️✨

Disney Travel & the Week of Love

There’s something special about celebrating love at Disney. It’s not just about couples—it’s about best friends riding Big Thunder hand-in-hand, grandparents watching fireworks with their grandkids, sisters in matching ears, and that first trip you take together that becomes “your place.”

During the Week of Love, Disney parks and resorts feel extra magical. Heart-shaped treats pop up in bakeries, specialty desserts appear for a limited time, and PhotoPass spots often feature romantic backdrops perfect for capturing your favorite people. Even the fireworks seem to linger a little longer over the castle.

And let’s be honest—few things say romance like:
• A sunset stroll around World Showcase
• Sharing a Mickey-shaped dessert
• A surprise character dining reservation
• Fireworks reflecting over Cinderella Castle

But here’s the real secret: the most magical love story at Disney isn’t just romance—it’s connection. It’s slowing down, laughing in line, trying something new together, and creating memories that last long after the trip ends.

If you could celebrate the Week of Love anywhere on Disney property, where would it be? Under the castle? At Aulani with an ocean breeze? On a balcony at the Grand Floridian?

Let’s plan a getaway that tells your love story. Whether it’s a romantic escape, a girls’ trip, or a family memory in the making, let’s sprinkle in some pixie dust and make it unforgettable.

Message me to start dreaming. 💕✨

🚀✨ Disney History Spotlight: Tony Baxter & Star Tours ✨🚀

Continuing our celebration of legendary Imagineer Tony Baxter, let’s jump to hyperspace…

When Star Tours opened at Disneyland in 1987, it wasn’t just another attraction — it was Disney’s first-ever collaboration with George Lucas and the first time a non-Disney intellectual property headlined a Disney ride. That was a bold move at the time.

Here are a few lesser-known gems:

⭐ Baxter helped champion the partnership with Lucasfilm after Captain EO paved the way for a working relationship.
⭐ The original attraction used groundbreaking motion simulator technology adapted from military flight simulators — incredibly advanced for the 80s.
⭐ C-3PO wasn’t originally intended to pilot the revamped 2011 version — that creative twist came later in development.
⭐ At one point in early brainstorming, Imagineers considered multiple “travel destinations” long before the random sequence technology became reality decades later.

Tony Baxter understood something powerful: story first, technology second. The ride works because you feel like a passenger in the Star Wars universe — not just someone shaking in a box.

🎨 And speaking of vision… when you walk through EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts, you can see how Imagineers like Baxter treat attraction design as true art. From concept sketches to finished experiences, the process itself is a gallery of imagination. Attraction posters, attraction-inspired art, even Star Wars artwork often appear during the festival — reminding us that theme parks are living canvases.

Here’s your hyperspace jump challenge 🚀
Next time you ride Star Tours, don’t just watch the screen — study the queue details, the color palette, the lighting transitions. Ask yourself: What story choice did Tony Baxter make here?

Drop your Star Tours destination below — Hoth? Naboo? Exegol? — and tell me if you’re Rebel Alliance or First Order.

Imagination is the vehicle. Where are you traveling next? 🌌

We’re continuing our Disney History spotlight on legendary Imagineer Tony Baxter — and today we’re diving into one of his most iconic creations… 🌊🐰

Splash Mountain.

Opening in Disneyland in 1989 and later at Walt Disney World and Tokyo Disneyland, Splash Mountain was a masterclass in storytelling and thrill combined. Tony Baxter helped bring this attraction to life during a time when Disney was looking for a major E-ticket attraction that could use existing Audio-Animatronics from America Sings. The result? A log-flume adventure packed with music, humor, and that unforgettable five-story drop.

Fun fact: the attraction was inspired by Disney’s 1946 film Song of the South and featured over 100 Audio-Animatronics — making it one of the most elaborate flume rides ever built. And that soundtrack? “Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah” will live rent-free in your head for the rest of the day.

Now let me just say — I have ridden Splash Mountain twice… and yes, you WILL get wet! 💦 Not “maybe a sprinkle” wet. Wet. And if you’ve ever stood in that queue, you know it can be a long one. This was always one of those attractions people rope-dropped or grabbed a FastPass for (back in the day) because the line stretched fast!

Tony Baxter had a gift for blending nostalgia, story, and thrill — and Splash Mountain was a perfect example of that Disney magic formula.

Love Disney history? Love attractions that combine storytelling and adventure? Let’s plan your next park day the smart way — so you can beat those long lines and pack in all your favorites.

⛰️🚂 Big Thunder Mountain Railroad: The Wildest Ride in the Wilderness – and the Mind of Tony Baxter

Before it was a fan-favorite thrill ride, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad started as part of a much bigger dream. In the 1970s, Imagineer Tony Baxter helped reimagine Frontierland after plans for a massive “Western River Expedition” attraction were shelved. Instead of a boat ride, guests would get something faster… louder… and wilder.

Inspired by the red rock formations of Monument Valley and the legend of a cursed mining town, Tony Baxter and his team created the story of Big Thunder Mining Company — where prospectors struck gold… and awakened a mysterious force that sent the trains racing out of control.

When Big Thunder Mountain Railroad opened at Disneyland in 1979 (and later at Walt Disney World in 1980), it changed the game. It wasn’t just a roller coaster — it was storytelling at 35 miles per hour. Every twist, tunnel, and exploding dynamite detail was carefully layered with narrative, something Baxter became famous for throughout his career (including Figment and the Imagination Pavilion at EPCOT!).

Today, Big Thunder remains one of the most beloved attractions across Disney Parks worldwide — proof that when thrills and story collide, Disney magic happens. ✨

✨ Disney Legend Spotlight: Tony Baxter ✨

If you love Figment, you have Tony Baxter to thank. 💜

Tony Baxter is one of the most influential Imagineers in Disney history, and he was the creative force behind the original Journey Into Imagination attraction at EPCOT in 1983. Alongside Dreamfinder, Figment was born from Baxter’s vision of making imagination itself the hero of the pavilion.

The name “Figment” comes from the phrase “a figment of your imagination” — and that playful purple dragon quickly became something much bigger than anyone expected. While Figment never got a movie, he gained something even more powerful: a fiercely loyal, cult-like following of Disney fans who proudly wear his purple year-round.

But Tony Baxter didn’t stop there. He also helped shape Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Star Tours, Splash Mountain, and played a major role in Disneyland Paris. His storytelling style blends heart, humor, and optimism — very much like Figment himself.

The original Journey Into Imagination ride is still remembered as one of EPCOT’s most beloved attractions, and much of that magic traces back to Baxter’s belief that imagination can truly change the world.

Next time you see Figment, remember the Imagineer who dreamed him up. 💭🐉

✨✨ Dream Big with Dreamfinder! ✨✨

Before Figment ever bounced into our hearts, there was a bearded, purple-cloaked dreamer guiding us into the wonders of imagination… Dreamfinder. 💜

When EPCOT’s Imagination Pavilion opened in 1983, Dreamfinder served as our whimsical host on the original Journey Into Imagination attraction. Sailing through the skies in his steampunk-style Dream Catcher airship, he collected sparks of creativity from art, science, literature, and music—teaching us that imagination fuels discovery.

It was Dreamfinder who discovered a tiny purple dragon made from two tiny sparks of imagination… and just like that, Figment was born! 🐉✨ Together, they reminded us that imagination isn’t just for children—it’s the starting point for innovation, invention, and dreaming up a better tomorrow.

Though the attraction has changed over the years, Dreamfinder remains a beloved symbol of EPCOT’s original heart: celebrating creativity, curiosity, and possibility. For many Disney fans, he represents the golden age of EPCOT storytelling.

After all… “One little spark of inspiration is at the heart of all creation.” 💡

✨🐉 Disney History Moment: The Curious Case of Figment! 🐉✨

Did you know Figment’s name was inspired by a Magnum P.I. episode?

Figment was named by Disney Legend and Imagineer Tony Baxter. Inspired by the phrase "figment of your imagination," Baxter decided on the name after hearing a character on an episode of the 1980s television show Magnum, P.I. say, "Figments don't eat rare tropical flowers".

When the Imagination Pavilion opened at EPCOT Center in 1983, the original attraction was Journey Into Imagination, starring Dreamfinder and his purple dragon companion. During development, the Sherman Brothers (yes, the legendary songwriters behind Mary Poppins and “it’s a small world”) were working on the attraction’s music. “One Little Spark.”

That word — figment — sparked something magical. It perfectly captured the playful, mischievous little dragon Dreamfinder had “created” from sparks of imagination in his flying machine, the Dream Catcher. And just like that, Figment had his name. 💡✨

In the original ride (1983–1998), Dreamfinder and Figment guided guests through the wonders of creativity, art, literature, science, and music — all wrapped in the unforgettable song, “One Little Spark.” Dreamfinder served as the whimsical mentor, collecting ideas and inspiring guests to explore their own imagination.

But in 1998, the ride was reimagined into Journey Into YOUR Imagination, and Dreamfinder was removed. Fans were… not thrilled. 😬 Figment was reduced to a small cameo. Due to strong guest backlash, Disney updated the attraction again in 2002 to Journey Into Imagination with Figment, restoring him to a starring role — though Dreamfinder has yet to return in the same way.

Here’s the interesting part:
Figment has no feature film, no major Disney+ series, and no cinematic franchise. Yet he has one of the most passionate, cult-like followings among Disney Adults. From Festival of the Arts popcorn buckets that crash websites to rare merchandise drops that sell out instantly — Figment fans show up. Every. Time.

He’s a reminder that imagination doesn’t need a blockbuster to be powerful. Sometimes, one little spark is enough. 💜

Ready to spark your own imagination at EPCOT? Let’s plan your next Walt Disney World adventure and experience the magic of Figment for yourself. ✨
