All equipment is for sale.

We appreciate all the support from everyone .

It was fun to have old school values and meet some old schoolers along the way. We’re gonna miss those loud pipes singing and those jakes rattling your brain out while they hold back a big heavy load of lumber. Maybe i was wrong for wanting an old truck, but nothing could ever bring the enjoyment like it did.

Most importantly my dad and I got to enjoy a bunch of time together which will forever be worth more than any money.

The news is in… truck is in a bad spot right now, not really sure if we can pull ourselves out of this one. Structural failure on cab mounts and underneath the sleeper. We have fought tooth and nail to keep this rare dinosaur on the road. Changes may come, or doors might close because we can’t afford to be down several months while bodywork is completed. I’m glad we’re safe, but seeing the light get a little dim.

Blew a cab airbag that has already been replaced on our way to this site.. gonna be down a few days to figure out what’s going on

Big step for Hyde & Sons today, our trailer will now have nothing but virgin tires on it. Had 3 recaps let go already and if we’re gonna put the miles in we need good rubber on the trailer too. No more stressing about a recap!
