Towman Downed on I-287, NJ

We are saddened to share the passing of Daniel “DJ” Ortiz, a 24-year-old tow truck operator from Hopatcong, who was struck and killed while assisting a disabled vehicle on the shoulder of I-287.

DJ was doing his job when a driver failed to slow down and move over.

Ron & Sons Towing remembers him as one of the kindest and most caring people they’ve ever known.
