Hello friends!
A few notices that I wanted to pass on...
I sold the Superyacht Maggie to my good friend and many of yours Graeme- aka Snowy. I couldn't think of a better home for her and when Snowy sails her across the Pacific he better count on me stowing away! In the meantime this winter I'm sailing her back to the West Indies for him while he finishes up his own superyacht job.
I'll be offering charters in the San Blas until February/March and then anywhere from the Dominican Republic to Antigua. If anyone needs a mother ship for the Antigua Classic Regatta or Race week please let me know. Check out www.discoverourplanet.com for the details.
So what now? More boats of course! I still have the 115 year old Friendship Sloop Amity and the Spray- a replica of the first boat to be sailed singlehanded around the world. I'll be chartering them in Maine next summer but they are both currently for sale as well if anyone is interested. This is because I have a terminal case of BBS Syndrome. (Bigger Boat Syndrome) I'm looking for a traditional bare hull to fit out anywhere from 60- 100 feet. Any material considered but I like steel. Everyone please check the graveyards of your local boatyards and let me know what you find!
