Qatar Airways has grounded its entire Airbus A380 fleet and cut more than 12,000 flights planned for April and May 2026 due to ongoing regional disruption.

The airline has also suspended services to over 60 destinations during this period, with all eight active A380 aircraft now parked in Doha.

Qatar Airways normally operates ten A380S, though only eight have been in regular service. Those aircraft were flying until late March, then were brought back and grouped at Hamad International Airport, which helps with maintenance and planning for their return.

Current schedules suggest A380 flights could restart on 1 June 2026, including routes to London Heathrow, Bangkok, Singapore, Paris, and Sydney. These services are expected to run daily, although plans may still change depending on the situation.

The airline’s winter schedule shows a partial recovery, but overall A380 flying will remain lower than in 2025, with demand still rebuilding across key long-haul routes.

Here's the video for today's delivery to TSA at the DFW Employee Store by C2. $4,000 in QuikTrip gift cards - $20 each. I asked him how many of the employees at DFW are single parents or head of household and sole breadwinner. He said a significant number. They've gone over 6 weeks without a paycheck. One TSA person I spoke with drives from Rockwall every day. That's like over an hour drive said he has a small car so the $20 giddy card will fill his tank. I had an AA employee give me a $100 bill at the airport to buy more gift cards.
