Wish you were here, with love from Alaska. You can be here and have an expert plan it all so you can all you want out of your trip to Alaska. Some want just a cruise and others want the full cruise with land tour.

After 3 months of additional training this year on Alaska, my biggest take-away is access matters! Princess Cruises has great access in both Alaska Cruises and on land.

Disney Cruise Line in Alaska. It's not for everyone, and I mean that as genuinely helpful advice.

If you want maximum glacier time, a longer port stop in Juneau, or the flexibility to add a land tour before or after your sailing, Disney probably isn't your ship. The glacier experience is more distant than what you'd get on some other lines, and port times can be shorter than ideal if checking off Alaska's highlights is the priority.

But here's who it IS perfect for:

The family that was already going to take a Disney cruise this year and realized Alaska is actually an option. The parents who want their kids fully entertained between ports so they can actually take a breath. The family that wants to experience Alaska but isn't ready to give up the Disney bubble to do it.
Alaska shows up. The scenery is still stunning. The wildlife doesn't care what ship you're on. And your kids will absolutely remember seeing a glacier from a deck with Mickey somewhere nearby.

You just need to go in knowing what you're choosing, and what you're trading off to get it.
