This is Judy's van, and if you book a scooter anywhere around Columbus this is what pulls up outside your hotel.

Judy runs Judy's Scootys, and she's been with us long enough now that both logos have ended up on the same door, which is really the whole model in one photo. There's no warehouse behind any of this and no fleet parked in a depot somewhere, just around six hundred people like Judy who already own the equipment and already know which entrance your hotel wants you to use and which door the cruise terminal will send you to.

That's what we mean when we say local, and it's most of the reason any of it works.

Cruising or heading to a theme park? The booking is exactly the same either way, it's only the pickup that changes.

If you're cruising, your equipment meets you at the terminal rather than on the ship, so give yourself a bit of a buffer before boarding and the handoff won't turn into a scramble.

If you're headed to a theme park, it goes to your hotel instead, which means you can ride it in on day one and skip the rental line at the gate entirely.
