Lore update: Rather than being officially bought, the two Acela units 2004/2018 are on a loaned lease which technically means they may go back to Newark soon but have helped tremendously on the Eastern shore runs.

Happy birthday to Lady! (AL&P No. 1) the very engine to why the Railroad exists being the first locomotive built in 1846! She's been with Madison ever since Madison arrived to the line and was close with her more than anyone else! Henry Reaid restored her to her former glory when the A&CR came to revive the line and she now resides at the junction. She doesn't really move around a lot and only operates rarely or during heritage events.

Back before the Eastern shore corridor was in it's tunneling process, they bought a particular engine. This type ran on pressurized steam and was perfect for boring the tunnels. They bought PP&L No. 8090 after the little engines last failed preservation attempts leading to the A&CR to buy them off the PP&Ls hands in the early 90s.

They're still around but likely not always at the junction and they're part of the wreck crew from time to time as well. They're more situated on the Eastern shore corridor at the ferry transfer port in Annapolis. Since they are eco-friendly they were put in charge of shunting trains at the port.

Annapolis, Laurel & Patuxent: Steamboats, Tugging & Logging.

This was common at the time. Tugs would play around with the logs and take them up river where other boats or engines take them to their respective location.

And Weems Steam Boats would again, collect passengers from Eagle Harbor from the trains and take them throughout the bay.
