The wait is over, and the secret is finally out! That giant crate you saw in our last post wasn't just a delivery; it’s a massive upgrade not just for Mallory Airport, but also for our local general aviation community.
We are incredibly excited to announce the arrival of our brand-new 𝐀𝐀𝐓𝐃 (𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐯𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞) 𝐅𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫!

This project was made possible through generous contributions to the Friends of Mallory Airport Foundation. Among those, we want to extend a special, heartfelt thank you for an amazing gift given in memory of 𝐃. 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐰𝐧 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐫. This simulator will be available for all flight instructors and their students to use, and other certified pilots, not just those based at Mallory.

As you can see from the attached chart, an AATD is a total game-changer for loggable training hours compared to a standard BATD. Whether you are working toward your Private Pilot License, Instrument Rating, Commercial License, or just need to maintain instrument currency, this simulator is built to keep you sharp and save you time and money.
