Was able to sneak out on a Trophy Trip before the weather turned over Memorial Day weekend and it was 🔥🔥🔥 Fishing!! The boys were rewarded with some sick fishing on the Jumbo Grounds landing 12 with fish over 50 inches before they had enough!! It truly is such an amazing & exhilarating experience fishing for these jumbos on our Trophy Striped Bass Trips….. As you can hear in the video even the Capt. gets excited like a little kid!! Fish of a lifetime! That’s what it’s all about!! COME CRUSH YOUR PB BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE!!

This past week has had its ups and downs with the fishing but we are making the best out of it!! Overall definitely not the typical May Slaughter fishing we’re used to by any means but there have been some larger fish around and we have been getting most of them to eat flat lined bunkers off the top, resulting in some very exciting bites!!!

** June 1st we will begin sailing twice a day (Am & Pm) targeting Seabass out of our Shark River location! If you wish to fill some coolers up with one of the tastiest fish the ocean has to offer, Text 908-461-1640 to get out!! **

- Must have an active Captain License (OUPV- 6pack or larger license).
- Must pass an initial drug test & be able to pass future random drug tests (enrollment in a USCG drug test consortium mandatory).
- Must have experience running a boat and in the fishing industry in Raritan Bay and surrounding waters.
- Must be able to throw a cast net (12-16ft).
- No Alcohol issues will be tolerated, must show up on time and be reliable.
-Competitive pay.
- Basic Mechanical Knowledge of Diesel Outboards.

The LIVE BAIT FISHING continues!!! It definitely has not been our typical May fishing with the insane 50++ fish trips ALL ON LIVE BAITS everyday but that’s what makes them so special!! We all got very spoiled with that insane fishing and those of you that get the chance to experience it are lucky & have those memories for a lifetime which is priceless!! That being said we are putting in work to get everyone on the best fishing possible with most trips landing an amount into the double digits (some trips over 30 fish) while the trips we have a hard time capitalizing on the bites coming up just shy…Nonetheless the action is there, we are just working harder than usual for this time of year to find the bites and burning a lot more fuel than we typically have to (good thing fuel prices are at an all time low!). We will always do everything in our power to provide the most productive and enjoyable fishing trip possible with the cards we’re dealt!!

Recap on last handful of trips !! Fishing live bunker every single trip!! Loading up the well with ease and most trips getting straight into the action! Every trip we are getting keepers for the dinner table and playing catch and release with some larger models!!

Catching up on multiple trip reports! Every trip we have been LIVE BUNKER FISHING and getting some fantastic cracks at em!!! Throwing shads now and again depending on preferences around the boat but majority have been fishing LIVE BAITS!! There’s nothing like sending out a flat line and having the bass explode on them off the surface inhaling them!! Landing fish over 30 pounds and going home with meat in the box as well getting the best of both worlds!!

We took a pass over the weekend and canceled all 4 of our trips due to inclement weather but we will be back at it tomorrow!! Catching up on prior trip reports, some trips we fish live bait and they bite the bait very well while other trips you read the fish by the hundreds under the boat but they only torment the baits hitting them and making them nervous…. Switch over to the Shads and you get those reaction strikes when you reel it past their faces resulting in putting fish In the boat!! As much as we love fishing the live baits and it being our main focus on this boat we don’t mind adapting to casting shads to get the action going! With that being said we always go down swinging with the cards we’re dealt but will never troll.

Fishing overall these past 4 trips has been good! We had 1 trip where we covered a ton of ground and missed alot of opportunities resulting in only a handful of fish landed on the live baits but the other 3 trips produced steady picks of fish all trip long, along with multiple triples and doubles!!

Fishing has been 🔥🔥🔥 live bait fishing has been the ticket lately so we have been filling the well full of candy live bunker and bringing them to hungry fish!! Multiple fish on at once and absolute insane drifts when they chew how they should!! Full boxes every trip and plenty of c&r!!

Catching up on a bunch of trip reports!! We have been super busy and catching every single day AM and PMs!! LIVE BAIT FISHING & CASTING SHADS has been the name of the game!! The average amount of fish we have been landing per trip between these last trips has been 30 with some trips exceeding over 50 fish and others coming up short of that 30 mark but every single trip we have been getting great cracks at em up to 30Lbs!!
