“Capt. Timmie Millis, 67, has been a fisherman since he was a child. Raised in a small fishing village his Family has had a Fish House for over 100 years. Capt. Timmie was born and raised with salt in his blood he has a wife, 3 kids and 5 grandchildren. His boat Capt Ben was named after his grandfather. I'm very proud to call him my husband, Commercial Fishing is a hard job, but he wouldn't have it any other way! 🦐❤️” -Donna Millis

Our friends and fellow fishermen fought valiantly this year to successfully defend the shrimp industry from unreasonable legislation in North Carolina!

We've joined forces with domestic seafood producers (Oregon Trawl Commission & crawfish industry) to petition the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative for a Section 301 investigation into unfair trade practices.

Why? Because foreign producers in China, India, Indonesia & Vietnam are using banned veterinary drugs in aquaculture - cutting costs while putting American consumers at risk and undermining our domestic industry.

These harmful drugs reduce disease in overcrowded farms and promote growth, but they're banned for good reason. It's time to level the playing field.
