I was cleaning an elderly customers trash bins on last week. As I pulled up, another elderly gentleman was already outside his home cleaning his trash bin. As I started to clean his neighbors bin, he said that I was getting water on him. I apologized, he accepted, and I continued on with the job. He came up to me afterwards. We had a good conversation and a few laughs. He said that he never knew this could be a business and asked questions. I told him that I noticed you were cleaning your trash bins and would like to give you a free sample of what I do. He happily agreed. I cleaned his trash bin that he was cleaning - even the one he wasn’t touching. He was amazed at the difference and offered to pay me. I refused and gave him a card. I was happy to change an almost negative experience into a positive one. *Pictures are of other bin jobs that we’ve done.
