Over the last few weeks, Durham has been holding a speeding tournament. The goal of this tournament was to reduce speeding and making every location safer. This tournament consisted of 11 other locations, including Kearney. Smithville entered this tournament as the 12th seed. After four weeks of competition, we are proud to announce that Smithville has won the championship!!! We had four speeding events across the whole competition and had ZERO speeding events on our last week. When you see your bus driver, please thank them and know that we will continue to strive to be the safest bus drivers that we can be and your students are in great hands.
