OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: JULY 24 FIREWORKS CELEBRATION CANCELED

It is with great sadness that we announce the cancellation of this year’s July 24th Fireworks Celebration.

This licensed and insured nonprofit event has been made possible through the support and partnership of the Garden City Fire Department and many dedicated community members. Unfortunately, we were unable to secure the full collaboration needed with Ideal Beach Resort to make this year’s celebration possible.

We sincerely thank Ideal Beach Resort for its partnership and support in past years.

Over the last six years, this celebration has created countless memories for families, friends, residents, and visitors. We are incredibly grateful to every volunteer, sponsor, public safety professional, business, and community members who has helped make this event so special.

Because this is a nonprofit community celebration. We are saddened that the fireworks will not take place this year, but we remain hopeful that this beloved tradition can return in the future.

Thank you to everyone who has supported the celebration and shared in the memories over the past six years.
