Overheating problems often start in late winter, early spring. As temps fluctuate, weak cooling components fail. If you notice any of the signs below it may be time to have your vehicle evaluated.
1) Engine overheating (temperature gauge rising, warning light on)
2) Coolant leaking under the vehicle (usually green, orange, pink, or yellow fluid)
3) Low coolant level in the reservoir repeatedly
4) Sweet smell coming from the engine bay (coolant smell)
5) White smoke/steam coming from under the hood
6) Temperature fluctuating (runs hot then cools down randomly)
7) Heater stops blowing hot air (especially at idle)
8) Radiator fan not working (engine runs hot in traffic)
9) Visible corrosion or sludge in the radiator or coolant tank
10) Bubbling in the coolant reservoir (could mean air in the system or head gasket issues)
11) Coolant warning light on the dashboard
