💙💛 I knew that walking the Camino de Santiago was something larger than myself, despite it being such an intimate and deeply meaningful experience. Being ONE of more than half a million other pilgrims, each one on his or her own personal journey, is humbling in a way that’s indescribable. To have shared this experience with other remarkable humans, once acquaintances and now treasured friends, is a gift.

I first read TTC in high school and read it again after college. Admittedly, I found it much more interesting and had a better understanding of it’s poignancy as a young adult. I dare say that it would be even more meaningful today given my, ahem, age and experiences.
