K & J Trucking has been owned and operated in Sioux Falls, South Dakota since Dave Koch founded it in 1979. Dave's daughter, Shelley has served as company president since 1991, and continues to expand the business as a premier refrigerated 48-state carrier. The family spirit is strong at K & J and not just because the Koch family is present - our mission is for each employee to know their worth,

from office staff to company drivers. Our commitment to honesty, integrity, and community is why we have industry-leading retention rates both for drivers and office employees. In fact, some of the very first drivers Dave Koch hired are still in the family! K & J's policy of hiring locally (within a 200 mile radius) shows a dedication to building and growing with the surrounding community and making sure drivers have quality home time. Dave Koch instilled a "can do" attitude toward customer service which is shared by each K & J employee today.
