Day 5 – Antwerp

Such a beautiful city in Belgium! We spent the day exploring and decided on the Belgian Chocolates, Beer & Waffle tasting tour—and it did not disappoint. From rich chocolates to perfectly crisp waffles and local brews, it was the perfect way to experience the flavors of this amazing city.

Day 4 - Ghent. We selected the excursion to Bruges, Belgium, and were mesmerized. This charming city captured my heart as my ultimate favorite, radiating the quintessential charm of traditional European fairy tales.

Day 3 brought us to Bruinisse, where we chose the Zierikzee walking tour—and it was such a great experience.

Zierikzee is a charming, historic town filled with beautiful architecture and a relaxed, welcoming feel. After the guided walk, we had time to wander, do a little shopping, and just enjoy the atmosphere at our own pace.

These are the kinds of stops that really make river cruising special—small towns you may not visit otherwise, but end up loving.

Just returned from an incredible Tulip Time cruise with aboard the beautiful AmaSiena… WOW, what an experience!

This ship is absolutely stunning—the design, the atmosphere, everything about it feels elevated. The food was outstanding (honestly some of the best I’ve had while traveling), and the staff truly went above and beyond every single day.

Day 1 was all about settling in, getting familiar with the ship, and enjoying a relaxing evening as we sailed overnight to Kampen.

Each day, we received the “Daily Cruiser,” which outlined everything happening onboard and the excursion options for the day. One of my favorite things about this itinerary is that the excursions are included, and there were typically 3–4 options to choose from—each one unique, which made it tough to decide!

On Day 2, we chose the Giethoorn tour—and it did not disappoint. It’s such a charming and romantic village, often called the “Venice of the Netherlands.” We had time to explore, shop, and just enjoy wandering through this peaceful, storybook setting.
