We are getting requests from busy parents who need help and we would love to match you up with a request that fits your schedule. If you have flexibility between 7-9am or 2-4pm we would love to hear from you!

- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must have 5 years experience working with children
- Must have a vehicle 10 years or newer
- Must be flexible to drive between 7AM-6PM (M-F)

I want to share a story about a ride that one of our Boomerang Drivers did recently. 🚙

There is a family that we have supported in over 45 rides and the children have become very special to many of our Boomerang Drivers ❤️

The other day started out no different than the rest but when the driver went to drop her off, there was no one at the facility - they were out on a field trip.

The Boomerang Driver was prepared to wait an hour until they returned just to make sure this special little girl was safe! 👧

She was able to get ahold of her mom and everything worked out but I wanted to share an example of the compassion our Boomerang Drivers have for the children. They are not just riders - we are an extension of their family❣️❣️

Hi my name is Kim Rome, local Owner/CEO and Founder of Boomerang Rides!

📍Hometown – Sioux Falls

🏡 Family – My husband Jim and I raised 4 wonderful children – Seth, Megan, Sydney and Paige – who were all involved in many activities growing up. And we are now the proud grandparents of Liza June 😊

👩🏼‍💼 Professional Background – I worked at Citibank for 34 years, primarily in Technology, which taught me structure, discipline and process that I have been able to leverage in building the best Boomerang Rides experience.

🚙 Why I started Boomerang Rides – After I retired in 2019, I thought “What would be my dream job in retirement where I can manage my own schedule and leverage my love for children?” I also remembered as a parent how real the struggle was of getting kids where they need to be!

📣 Mission Statement – To become an extension of your family by providing safe and dependable transportation for your precious cargo – your children!

It takes a village to raise a child and I consider your children as my own in every action I take!

Boomerang Rides launched in May with 5 Drivers and completed 14 rides the first month.

In June, we expanded our team to 15 Boomerang Drivers and completed 114 rides!

🎆 July started out with a bang and it was more than the 4th of July fireworks! We completed 56 rides in the first week!
