ALL PRECAUTIONARY BOIL ADVISORIES HAVE BEEN LIFTED AND THE WATER IS SAFE TO DRINK.

UPDATE: The water main has been repaired, and your water should be restored within the next 2 hours.

Remember:
1. You will be on a precautionary boil advisory until the samples have cleared once the water is restored.

2. You may or may not have air (white water) in your water lines once the water has been restored.

3. Begin flushing your water lines from the outside faucet first, and then move to the inside to help eliminate the air in your lines (suggestion only)

4. It takes time for the main system to pressure up, and fill the distribution lines to get service to our customers.

5. Our crew will be flushing water lines this evening, and over the next few days.

Important Notice: The water has been turned off.

The crew is trying to back feed some of this area, and if successful parts of Oretta community, and Joe Lorenz may maintain water, but at a lower pressure.

Please keep your water reserved just in case you lose pressure in those areas.

We do not have a time frame of how long the repair will take, but we will not go home until all of the water is restored.

Please remember you will be on a Precautionary Boil Advisory until rescinded by cleared samples.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

THE WATER OUTAGE HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED FOR MONDAY, APRIL 27, 2026.

We do not have a timeline for the outage, but please be prepared for all day just in case.

PART OF THE SINGER AND ORETTA AREA
George Kendall to Phelps on Hwy 27, Singer. This will include the Oretta Community.

Some of the roads are:
George Kendall, Billy Parker, Foster T, South and North Foster, Odell Burnett Road, Monroe Parker Road, Parker Road, Broadway St, Joe Lorenz Road, Old Seale, Fielding Williams Road, Hugh Myers, part of South Bearhead Road, and any roads within this grid.

Once the water has been restored you will be on a Precautionary Boil Advisory until rescinded with cleared samples from LDH.

Suggestion Only: Once the water has been restored, begin flushing your residence or business water lines from the outside first, and then begin on the inside of the home/building.
