At our April 2024 meeting, Delegate Jared Solomon talked about the progress and frustrations in funding #Transit and #transportation in #Maryland and how it's been complicated by the collapse of the #KeyBridge and the loss of the tolls it collected. He also stressed the importance and value of properly funded transit to our community and the state as a whole.
He also discussed the need for higher taxes for heavier vehicles and the continued effects of former-Governor Hogan's cuts in tolls and shortsighted transportation policies.
