Some owner-operators around here are really confusing. One day they're ready to work, and the next day they back out after already sending all their documents. If you're not interested in dispatch services, why send the paperwork in the first place?

And by the way, you're not going to find legitimate, dedicated dispatch services for 6% anywhere else.

Our current drivers grossing $6000 a week with $1.80-$2.00 average rate per mile. Every load pay is different but we gotta calculate it after a week. Your Mc should be 6 months or older than that in order to get some good freight.

A lot of people call or text me every day looking to work under my MC and insurance. Everything usually sounds good to them until I explain the upfront insurance fee required to add their truck under our policy. Then they disappear.

Let me make this clear — that upfront fee is not going into my pocket. My insurance company charges around $2,200 as a down payment to add a truck under my policy. To make it easier for drivers, I only ask for $1,100 upfront and the remaining $1,100 can be deducted from loads over time.

But instead, many drivers choose dispatchers charging only $300 for “insurance.” The reality is, a lot of them are not actually providing proper coverage. Some only tell you verbally that you’re insured, while others give fake COIs (Certificates of Insurance).

A lot can go wrong if DOT or an inspection officer pulls you over and your coverage turns out to be invalid. Please be careful and make sure you are genuinely insured. Staying safe and legal is always worth more than saving a few dollars upfront.

How much per mile are you guys getting from your Dispatcher? I book nothing less than $1.70 and our drivers only do long hauls. You can give me a Call/Text for dispatch services if you are looking to change your dispatcher. I can guarantee you back to back loads with backhauls. $5500-$6000 weekly gross.
I charge 6% dispatch fee.
