W.D.S. Enterprises W.D.S. Enterprises This began the establishment, development, and subsequent growth of WDS Enterprises, Inc.

Approximately 20 years ago, William Duane Switzer made a decision to become a single owner-operator of a tractor and a refrigerated trailer, with the purpose of transporting perishable commodities. From its modest beginnings, WDS has experienced considerable growth over these last 20 years. With its home office and trucking operations still a home in the town of Shepherd, MI, William Switzer now owns and operates a fleet of close to 90 power units along with a bank in excess of 130 trailers, mostly 53 foot refrigerated and dry van units. Bill has directed the company to feature a just-in-time transit service standard to its many customers. Servicing 48-state over the road authority along with brokerage licensing, WDS brings frozen, refrigerated and general commodity trucking services to its customers, to and from regional points as well as coast to coast locations. WDS maintains a committed customer orientated staff of professional dispatchers and administrative personnel. Eager to serve existing and future customers, WDS is focused on finding modern solutions to trucking opportunities at competitive pricing. Aware of its carbon dioxide produced, WDS continues to be highly committed to the building process of the latest technological advancements in both fuel savings and equipment efficiencies.
