It's National Get to Know Your Customers Day, and we're celebrating with a giveaway!

We've had the opportunity to work on some pretty incredible boats, cars, trucks, and other projects over the years, and one of our favorite parts of what we do is getting to know the people behind them!

No purchase necessary. Open to Table Rock Lake boaters/visitors ages 18+. One entry per person. Employees and immediate family members of Perfect Shine are ineligible. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries.

Two winners will each receive one complimentary detail, valued up to $500 per prize, redeemable March 1 through May 31, 2027, by appointment. Boats or vehicles must either be brought to the shop, or be able to be picked up within 30 miles of the shop. Prizes are nontransferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

This 2010 Cobalt 232 came to us with some pretty serious fiberglass damage on the hull, and the difference speaks for itself!

We repaired the damaged area, refinished it, and got everything cleaned back up like it should be. We were also able to get it turned around quickly so the customer could get back on the water without being down any longer than necessary.

Fiberglass damage is one of those things you don’t want to let sit. What starts as one damaged area can turn into a much bigger repair, so we always recommend getting it looked at as soon as you can.

We’re fortunate to have customers who trust us with more than just one project. Kevin has brought us both his vehicles and boats over the years, and we appreciate him continuing to choose Perfect Shine to take care of them.

Not every chip or crack in your gelcoat needs the same level of urgency.

One of the first things we look at when inspecting gelcoat damage is where it is on the boat: above or below the waterline.

Damage below the waterline is something you don’t want to ignore. If the gelcoat is damaged enough to expose the fiberglass underneath, water can work its way into those layers and cause the damaged area to crack, flake, or delaminate further over time.

Above the waterline, it’s usually a different story. Without water constantly moving across the damaged area, there’s less concern about water intrusion. Unless something like a dock or fender continues rubbing against it, repairing that damage may be more of a cosmetic decision than an immediate priority.

Bottom line: if you can see exposed fiberglass below the waterline, we recommend getting it looked at and repaired as soon as you can.

This BEAUTIFUL Chevy Silverado came in for a full detail and ceramic coating. We got it cleaned up inside and out, and the ceramic coating really brought out the shine while giving the paint long-term protection and making it easier to keep clean.

We had a lot of fun working on this one and getting it looking its best! We know our customers work hard for the things they have, and we always appreciate the trust they put in us to take care of what matters to them.

Since today is National HR Appreciation Day, we wanted to take a minute to give a big shoutout to Leah Denton with L Denton Consulting, LLC.

As Perfect Shine has grown, Leah has spent countless hours helping us get the HR side of the business where it needs to be.

She’s helped us work through compliance documentation, build out our handbook and policies, put together our OSHA and safety plans, and answer questions as they come up.

A lot of that work happens behind the scenes, and most customers will never see it, but it makes a huge difference in how we operate and how well we are able to take care of our employees and customers.

Leah’s pretty much jumped in wherever we’ve needed her. She’s helped with the HR stuff, the paperwork, all the random questions that come up, and she’s even been known to help detail a boat or two.

We’re extremely thankful to have her in our Perfect Shine Detailing family!

Turns out ProStars travel in packs!

We had one MasterCraft ProStar come into the shop, and now we have four. These boats are built to perform, and they deserve a finish that looks the part.

Each of these boats belongs to a local boat owner right here on Table Rock Lake, and we are grateful for the trust they put in us. A lot of our work comes from neighbors, friends of customers, and people we see out on the water, and that is exactly the kind of business we want to keep building.

Depending on what each boat needs, that can mean fiberglass and gelcoat repair, gelcoat correction, oxidation removal, a full interior and exterior detail, or ceramic coating to protect the finish for the seasons ahead. Every boat gets worked on inside our temperature-controlled shop in Shell K**b, with the lighting and space to do the job right.

If you noticed chips, scratches, dull spots, or oxidation on your boat this summer, now is a good time to get it taken care of before next season. And if you are not sure what your boat needs, send us a few photos and we can point you in the right direction.
