At just two months old, this Belgian Malinois/Queensland Heeler mix is ready to tackle life with a teammate. He’s smart, energetic, and always up for a challenge—whether it’s learning new tricks, playing fetch, or helping you celebrate every touchdown (or console you after a fumble).

Some nice people just brought me here from LA, and I sure am happy to be safe and to make room in my previous shelter for the owned animals separated from their families due to the fires. This move will help those families be reunited... and maybe it will help me to finally find a family of my very own here in SLO County! Could you be the one I've been dreaming of? Say hello to Beto! This cute and scruffy guy recently arrived at Woods SLO and is all ready to be adopted now that he’s been neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated! So far, Beto has appeared to be a mellow guy. He can be a little reserved at first, but enjoys lap time and gentle pets once he trusts you. Hi, I'm Obri! That's short for Obrigado which means "thank you" in Portuguese. I'm a gentle, gorgeous kitty who can be a bit of a wallflower. Once I move past my shyness, I'm truly the sweetest little kitty and love to snuggle with my people. I was much loved in my previous home and I'd love to be part of a family again. I have shared space with a chill dog and don't mind the company of the other shelter cats. I enjoy playing with wand toys, rolling in cat nip and have been an indoor cat. I'm at Woods in Atascadero and I'll see you soon! I’m a 3-year-old spayed female and I’m available for adoption from 11-4 every day at 2300 Ramona Rd!

Hello there! The name's Murphy, professional snuggle-bug extraordinaire! You got a lap? I'm on it! Feeling lonely? I'm a great conversationalist. Love the feeling of velvety soft fur? I have a soft belly perfect for rubbing! Honestly, I'm kind of the perfect guy. Here in the shelter I am normally snuggled up with my brother Mack. We are like two peas in a pod and I would love to find a home we could both go to. When I'm not snuggled up I can be found bouncing from person to person asking for attention, my long tail swishing back and forth. If you have a home in need of soft paws and excited purrs, I could be the guy for you! Come on in, take a load off! Who knows, I may be just the thing your lap was missing.
