Discovery Coach is sad to let you know that we have lost one of our original owners, Jim Prigge, who passed away Tuesday, May 12 at the age of 93. Pictured on the left, Jim and his brother Jerry are shown in the early 1970's. Jim came aboard in the mid 1950's after a stint in the Army and helped steer the company to what it is today. Known for his larger than life personality, he loved the sporting part of the business driving for Milwaukee Braves, Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Bucks games. He was a salesman and loved putting together bus and ticket packages and became the largest season ticket holder of the Green Bay Packers. In 1976 he founded Discovery World Travel and moved into the travel business and built a successful award winning travel agency with 16 offices at one point. Jim will long be remembered for his "Mr. Lucky and Clean Living" persona and as the un-official mayor of Elkhart Lake. The Discovery Coach Family sends their love and sympathy to his wife Pat and daughters, Julie, Jane, Jill and son Jon.

The Discovery Coach family is heartbroken to learn that one of our longtime SCHOOL BUS DRIVERS Mr. David Wood passed away today. David had 2 stints with Prigge's School Bus Service. One in the 1990's (as pictured below in '91) and most recently from 2008 until December 2025. Our hearts go out to his wife and family.

From all of us at Discovery Coach, wishing you a very Merry Christmas!
