HARDING ICEFIELD TRAIL, KENAI FJORDS NATIONAL PARK

The view of the Icefield over the horizon with the mountains in the background is hard to describe. And with this hike, you earn your view. We gained over 2000 feet of elevation to get to this point on the trail.

Quick tip: even in late June, there can still be snow on the trail. Watch for avalanche risks and be prepared with proper snow hiking equipment.
