If I had a dollar for every time I’ve heard “I don’t know how you do it”, I’d be a damn millionaire.

Whether it’s meant to be said in an empathetic way, or honestly, out of true spite, is yet to be determined. But nonetheless, “how I do it” makes me that much more determined knowing deep down I AM doing something right.

Sure, my life may look like a dream. My perfect “job” allows me to travel to world, meet new people, embrace new experiences. I’m incredibly fortunate that I have the opportunity and a family who supports my ambition.

But what you don’t see in all of the pictures of the amazing places I go, is the sacrifice which led me there.

We all go through our own trials and tribulations. What happens to us and how we choose to overcome what life throws at us makes us all fascinating and unique individuals.

Some find pleasure making obscure comments towards those who are out there doing. And that’s ok. You’re probably not my tribe.

Life is too short. Live in the now. Because I know more than many, the now can change at the drop of a dime. Time is not guaranteed. Tell someone you love them. Take the trip. Try something new.

I’m here for all of it.

Yes. Transportation strikes happen—and they don’t automatically mean your vacation is ruined! Are they a pain? Absolutely. Yet still manageable.

✨ Ask about rerouting, refunds, or alternative transportation
✨ Keep receipts for unexpected expenses
