Having a great weekend with mom. She let me sleep in extra late while she went to coffee with the locals this morning.
After that, we went exploring more of the Sax-Zim Bog! Today we went to the Wood Thrash Woods & hiked the George Lahr trail, drove by the trailhead for the Yellow-bellied Bog, and finally walked on the Bob Russell boardwalk in the Winterberry Bog.
It's been a great day to be a dog!

Life's been a little boring since mom's back at work. Today's big adventure involved going to Pet Supplies Plus for a bath! While we were there, my Jeep got ducked.

Some slightly adventurous weather came through up north this afternoon.
Mom thought it best that we get out of the woods when she got a notification for a severe thunderstorm warning. She said something about trees falling on my Jeep & me? I'm not sure what that is but it meant I got to go for a ride in my Jeep. That's all I need to know!
We went to the gas station & then mom's phone got a really loud alert ⚠️ TORNADO WARNING! Fortunately, it was more south of us & we are OK. We had heavy rain & a lot of WIND. When the rain slowed down we headed back towards camp & stopped at the Laurentian Divide. Some nice locals moved a down tree off the road so people & dogs in Jeeps could drive through. I love it up north!
We arrived back at camp & the screen tent took a little hit from the wind but that popped right back out like nothing. Mom says we are blessed.
Now everything is wet and I'm tired so it's nap time...in my Jeep! 🐾

Dreary morning makes for chillin' on the porch, lots of pets from new friends & bacon at the Pinecone Cafe! Mom really likes all the pretty flowers & hummingbird feeders.

What a relief! Mom got her laundry done & we got to go back to the campground.
She bought a new to us trailer with a RTT (rooftop tent) & said this was the maiden voyage. She wouldn't let me sleep in there because she said she wasn't sure we'd keep the RTT. It's got a really cool skylight in it, so she says.
This weekend we went exploring Sax-Zim Bog. Nice bog walks & nice people at the welcome center. Mom says we'll go back & explore more another day.
The eastern tent caterpillars were all over & had chewed up a lot of leaves on the trees.
I'm not so fond of regular campgrounds. They're kind of boring & too peoplie.

My big adventure to The MOORE Expo has come to an end. MOORE friends made, MOORE laughs had, & MOORE miles on my JEEP.
It's nice to come home & find my favorite ShihTzu, Itsy Bits aka Missy, was waiting for me!

MOORE rain last night & MOORE wind today.
Mom's favorite was walking around to see MOORE really cool rigs!
All I got to ride on was a golf cart...I guess I'll have to be happy with lots of pets from my new fans. Everyone keeps telling mom what a wonderful, well behaved dog I am. I think in dogo term they mean "Good boy!"
