I always had a problem with school and authoritarian kooks trying to tell me what to do. I always had a problem working for someone else's dream. I never liked working in shops, going to the same place everyday. So here I am, risking my life on the side of the highway everyday, and loving every minute of it. If I can save a trucker from danger, as well as a ridiculously expensive tow bill, it's worth every minute.

Half the time im just fixing other people's mess ups. This one is no exception. Driver ran over a giant pole? KO'D the wheel, 3 air brake hoses, and a brake chamber.

I happen to stock all of these parts on the Z bus, except for the rim, which he did have a spare ready for.
Time is money in trucking, and same with truck repair, otherwise I would have tried to extract the broken fittings out the brake can. So I slapped a new 3030 standard brake can, a DOT approved air brake hose union, and 2 new hoses on his trailer and called it a day. I was pretty hyped I didnt have to make a single trip for parts on this one, considering I didn't know what to expect from the phone call. This also saves the customer money on unnecessary labor time.

Most truck parts suppliers close after 5pm weekdays, so At TNT, I like to keep all the common truck parts in stock and ready to go, because there's really just one way to go "All Night".

All Night TNT is pretty much the only diesel technician in all of Washington, who will answer the phone at 1030pm, pick up a starter from freightliner, and come to the mountains to install said starter, laying in the snow, under a 100,000 pound truck/ trailer, and finish the job within hours from the original call. This is what All Night TNT is all about. Please don't call me at 6am asking me if I stock mud flaps, thank you.

Air compressor replacment on a 2019 Kenworth Cummins X15, started at 10pm. Finished at 6am.... I'm starting to realize why a lot of shops refuse to work on these newer trucks. It's like gambling at the roulette table with these highly advanced, delicate creatures. Am I a Cummins specialist yet?

What a s**t show it's been the last 2 days. Started at 7am in Sequim yesterday. Drove to Olympia doing DOT inspections on several rigs. I managed to complete 2 more gigs in tacoma, and started this seemingly easy job at 11pm last night. Peterbilt sent me off with the wrong parts, then they closed early so I had to sleep in my truck till they reopened at 7am. It took 2 more trips to Peterbilt to get the correct yoke nut for this truck, as the last shop forgot to torque it down correctly, hence why the guy was stranded on the side of I5. Usually I charge a higher rate past 8pm, but I felt that's not fair when I couldn't get him going that night, even tho it wasn't really my fault. I hooked him up with the normal rate, sent him on his way and now here I am.

Action packed night in Tacoma, haha. Yeah there's other things I wish I could be doing on a Friday night, but I know one day it'll all pay off. Just finished replacing another starter on a truck, broke down while fueling up at Pilot. Feeling hyped that freightliner was open till 11pm, so I could get the part. Now I gotta go get a tire at loves, and bring it to some dude broke down at the military base.
