Vietnam’s Burger King was 1/5 for Dean. “Right above eating dirt”. But in their defense…this was airport food. Stick to true Vietnamese food and you will have the best experience.

We get the hype! What a fun and big city surrounded by this beautiful beach and mountains. The mist surrounding this place and the joy of every one on the beach made it unlike any where else in Vietnam! ❤️

This place is absolute paradise. We saw all parts of Phu Quoc island, but nothing beat Khem beach. The water was pristine, the sand was soft and white. This place was so clean. There are many parts of the island that are not this clean. My only regret that we didn’t spend more time here.

This was actually our first Bahn Mi in Vietnam and it was actually the last place we chose to have Bahn mi. IT WAS THAT GOOD. To the beautiful people of Ho Chi Mihn city, thank you for sharing your incredible food, spaces, and friendship with us. We can not express enough how good it was to be there.

Hanoi is one of our favorite cities in all of Vietnam. This spot, a railroad built in 1902 by the French, provides a neat tourist attraction. A train runs down this track, only inches away from the small adorable bars and cafe’s that provide seating to the many people who frequent this unique sight. We had many people tell us it was overhyped. But we disagree. I loved this spot. I also love the people in this city. The overwhelming kindness of the people here is hard to come by.

This was the first place we had bahn mi in Ho Chi Mihn City and it was the last. It was also the best! You need a glove, a wet wipe, and a hungry stomach. 9.2/10 ⭐️

Bún chả is a classic dish from Vietnam, especially associated with Hanoi.

This particular dish was found down a back alley way with little plastic chairs and a small back side of someone’s home. The best way to eat anything in Vietnam!

The dish usually consists of grilled pork patties and grilled pork belly.

A bowl of savory dipping sauce made with fish sauce, vinegar, sugar, garlic, and chili.

Rice vermicelli noodles.

A large plate of fresh herbs and greens such as lettuce, mint, cilantro, and peril.

Traditionally, you dip the noodles and greens into the pork and sauce.

This particular dish had nem rán, or fried spring rolls.

A mix of smoky charred pork, sweetness from sugar, tartness from vinegar and lime, saltiness from the fish sauce make this our favorite dish we had in Vietnam.
