****UPDATE FOR FEBRUARY 2-6, 2026****

We will be running our normal routes this week. Your trash will be picked up on your normal pick up day

UNLESS:

-Your road is still covered in ice and not safe to get down
-Your trash can is not safely accessible for our drivers to get to

Please make sure your trash is at the end of your driveway as close to the road as possible. We need to make sure our drivers are as safe as possible while trying to get all the trash picked up. If your road is still icy, it is almost impossible for our trash trucks to stop and then take off again on an ice covered road. There may be some stops that we are still not able to get to this week. Please understand that we are going to do everything we can to try to get as many stops taken care of as possible.

On your normal trash day, please make sure you have your trash out by 7am and leave it out later into the day. We will be moving slower than normal to accommodate for the extra trash and the still icy road conditions.

As for our dumpster customers, we will be attempting to pick up all of our Monday dumpsters on Monday. For our Thursday (1/29) dumpsters that need picked up, we are going to start getting to those on Monday and attempt to get everyone picked up by Wednesday. Please make sure that your dumpster is not blocked and does not have large piles of snow/ice in front of it so our trucks are able to get to them.

Please remember that we will pick up all of our trash with no bag limits to make up for the cancellations we have had due to the horrible weather and road conditions. Thank you so much for being so understanding. We do understand that not being able to get rid of your trash has been a hardship but there is just so much we can do when the weather acts out.

****UPDATE FOR FRIDAY, JANUARY 30, 2026****

After getting out on our routes roads today, we have decided that roads are still too dangerous for us to safely get out on. So, we are going to cancel all routes for Friday, January 30th. We are aware that the main roads are pretty clear but all of the side roads that the majority of our houses are on are still ice. We will be back out next Friday to pick up all the trash from both weeks with no limits to make up for the cancellation. ​

​After checking road conditions today, we have decided that roads are still too dangerous for us to safely get out on. So, we are going to cancel all routes for Thursday, January 29th. We are aware that the main roads are pretty clear but all of the side roads that the majority of our houses are on are still ice. We will be back out next Thursday to pick up all the trash from both weeks with no limits to make up for the cancellation.

After checking road conditions today, we have decided that roads are still too dangerous for us to safely get out on. So, we are going to cancel all routes for Wednesday, January 28th. We will be back out next Wednesday to pick up all the trash from both weeks with no limits to make up for the cancellation. We will make a determination about our Thursday routes by Thursday morning.

**If you have a dumpster emptied on Mondays, we will empty those dumpsters as soon as we can safely get the truck out on the roads and to our stops.**

With the potential weather moving in the weekend, we may be operating under our inclement weather policy. We will continually make updates here, as well as www.opbsanitation.com and the office phone voicemail (501-281-2481)

We will not be making any definite decisions until Monday morning as to whether we will be running our routes. Please remember, as our inclement weather policy states, that any routes or houses not picked up due to the weather will be picked up the following week on your normal pick up day. We know that this means you will have extra trash so we will pick up all your trash that following week with no limits.

Christmas and New Year's Day Holiday Schedule

We will be closed on Thursday, December 25th, 2025 and Thursday, January 1st, 2026. Our regular Thursday customers will be picked up Friday, December 26th, 2025 and Friday, January 2nd, 2026 along with our regular Friday customers. Please make sure you have your trash out early on both Fridays and leave it out later as we will be picking up trash for both days.

Our Thursday dumpster customers for December 25th will be picked up Wednesday, December 24th.

Our Thursday dumpster customers for January 1st will be picked up Wednesday, December 31st.

No other days or routes will be affected by these Holiday closings.

Thanksgiving Holiday Schedule

We will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, November 27th, 2025.

Our regular Thursday customers will be picked up on Friday, November 28th, along with our regular Friday customers. Please have your trash out early and leave It out later, as we will be picking up 2 days.

Our Thursday dumpster customers will be picked up on Wednesday, November 26th.

No other route days will be affected by this Holiday closing.
