GLOSTER AERODROME survives the Flood of 2023 with no damage whatsoever! Last week's and this week's epic rains proved no match for Gloster Aerodrome's runway environment, hangers and homes! All those drainage studies done years ago really proved worthwhile!

Experience Sport Aviation at an old English Aerodrome right in the heart of Texas! Gloster Aerodrome is privately owned, and open to the public. It is a public use airfield. CTAF is 122.725. It is the largest aviation facility in Austin, County, Texas, about 1 hour drive due West of downtown Houston, about 20 minute drive from Katy, Texas, 6 miles East of Sealy, Texas. You can, purchase fuel, rent hangers and tie-downs here at Gloster. It is the location of Gloster School of Special Flying, specializing in teaching tailwheel flying in light sport aircraft and conventional general aviation tailwheel aircraft for tailwheel endorsements. It is the location of the Aeroplane Manufactory, makers of the Chinook Line of Light Sport Aircraft and it is also the location of Glostershire Aviation Subdivision, a “through-the-fence” subdivision giving lot owners full use of the facility, come build your dream hanger, hangerminium (hanger with an apartment in it), house with hanger, just a house, or a separate house and hanger on our acreage lots!
