Congratulations to our drivers and contractors who received clean inspections in September! Thank you for the care you put into keeping your equipment ready and making safety a priority every day on the road.

Tony S. was recently pictured practicing safe habits on the job in a post from the ATA Comp Fund!

Tony joined DMT in August 2022 and is an owner-operator running out of our Noble terminal, where he works with Driver Manager Teia W. We’re glad to see him representing DMT out on the road!

We’re proud to celebrate Willie W. as our September Contractor of the Month!

Willie joined our team three years ago and brought with him decades of experience on the road. With 35 years in trucking, he has built a long career rooted in hard work and has become an important part of our team along the way.

When he’s not on the road, Willie enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, being outdoors, and cheering on Alabama football. His faith is also an important part of his life, and he serves as a deacon at his church.

We’re grateful to have Willie on our team and appreciate the hard work and dedication he brings each day. Congratulations again, Willie!

We’re proud to recognize James F. as our Driver of the Month for September!

James has been behind the wheel for 26 years and has maintained an accident-free record throughout his entire driving career. He previously drove with DMT before taking some time away to be home with his family, and we were happy to welcome him back to the team last year.

Outside of trucking, family is a big part of James’ life. He is a proud husband, father of six, and grandfather of 13. He enjoys traveling with his wife, taking in the countryside, and seeing what each new day brings.

We’re grateful to have him at DMT and proud to celebrate him as our September Driver of the Month. Congratulations, James!

Your tires deserve a close look during every pre and post-trip inspection.

Use a tire gauge to check PSI and a tread-depth gauge to make sure your tires are safe and compliant. Tire thumpers are not an accurate substitute and cannot tell you the actual pressure or tread depth.

Taking a few extra minutes to check your tires can help you catch problems early, avoid violations, and stay safe on the road.

There’s nothing better than having a furry friend along for the ride! 🐾

David H. has Oskar keeping him company out on the road, and we can’t get enough of this little guy! Thanks for sharing, David.

Driver Appreciation Week may be over, but our appreciation for DMT’s drivers and contractors continues year-round.

President Harold S. shares a special message of thanks for the hard work, dedication, and professionalism you bring to DMT every day. Your efforts do not go unnoticed, and we are grateful for everything you do to keep us moving!

Safety starts long before you hit the road. Properly securing your load is essential to preventing load shifts and protecting yourself and everyone around you.

Take the time to inspect your securement before every trip and recheck it along the way. A few extra minutes can make all the difference.
