Micky's passion for travel dates back to her early childhood when she traveled the world with her military family. The seeds of her business started with taking friends to Europe on her vacations or just helping others with their travel plans. 10 years ago Micky decided to follow her passion and delve into the world of travel on a professional level, as the owner of her home-based travel agency –
Travel Planning for YOU!! - which focuses on European travel and river cruises. Choosing this as her area of expertise was easy, given that she lived on the continent for more than 20 years. Micky believes the better educated you are, the better you can serve your clients. She has completed her CTA (Certified Travel Associate) and CTC (Certified Travel Counselor) and LTS (Luxury Travel Specialist) through the Travel Institute, her ACC (Accredited Cruise Counselor) and MCC (Master Cruise Counselor) from CLIA (Cruise Lines International Association), and many other specialty certifications. She delights in sharing her knowledge and love for travel, as well as learning from others, making her role as the San Antonio area CCRA Chapter Director, since 2013 an enjoyable one. When Micky isn't planning your vacations she is planning her own. Micky's hobbies include gardening, reading a good book or cooking and enjoying a nice wine.
