My calendar has been busy lately booking trips - and I am loving the variety of trips I’m planning right now.

Spring Break planning is in full swing, and my clients are headed everywhere: Costa Rica for a week of adventure, all-inclusive resorts throughout Mexico and the Caribbean, group trips to Punta Cana, Mediterranean cruises, some of Disney’s newest cruise ships, Universal, and more.

If you’re thinking about traveling this year, my biggest advice is this:

Start with the budget you’re comfortable with, then build the best trip we can within it.

I’ve been doing this with so many clients lately. We talk about what matters MOST, nonstop flights, the resort, room type, activities for the kids, destination, length of stay, and then figure out where we can be flexible.

Travel doesn’t have to be the “perfect” trip with the “perfect” deal to be worth taking.

Maybe we do five nights instead of seven. Maybe we choose a great four-star resort instead of the luxury property. Maybe you skip the upgraded room because you’d rather spend that money on an excursion.

And yes, airfare is expensive right now. But depending on the trip, that doesn’t necessarily mean you have to wait to start planning. I can often secure your resort or vacation package with a low deposit, no deposit, or flexible cancellation terms while we watch airfare.

My philosophy remains pretty simple:

Set the budget. Pick your priorities. Book the trip. Make the memories.

I’ve never had a client come home and tell me they regretted taking the vacation, and I’ve certainly never taken a trip I wished I had skipped.

And a reminder: I’m still charging $0 planning fees for these vacations. For most of the trips I book, the resort, cruise line, or travel supplier pays me a commission that is already built into the price.

When people think about European vacations, destinations like Italy, France, or the UK often come to mind first.

After spending nine days exploring Bavaria with my family, I can confidently say Germany deserves a place on that list.

From the storybook streets of Bamberg and the breathtaking Bavarian Alps to Neuschwanstein Castle, Munich, and countless charming biergartens, this trip completely exceeded my expectations. It offered the perfect balance of history, outdoor adventure, incredible food, and family-friendly experiences.

One of my biggest takeaways? Europe doesn't have to be rushed. Choosing just one region allowed us to truly experience each destination instead of simply checking boxes.

There’s just something special about a really good girls trip ✨
