Playing hard in cold weather means following safe pre-heating protocols for your Cirrus. Do not operate the engine at speeds above 1700 RPM unless the oil temp is at least 100° F and pressure is between 30-60 PSI. When oil temp has reached 100° and oil pressure does not exceed 60 PSI at 2500 RPM, the engine has been properly warmed and is ready to accept full-rate power.
