I keep saying this is a state wide issue. Why does out state wait until everything becomes an emergency?

Do you rely on a medical transport service to visit the doctor or get chemotherapy or dialysis? If so, you might have no one to drive you in a couple of weeks.

Dear Governor Kathy Hochul,
I run a business to employ true professionals and to help my communities stay healthy. I just can’t see how the Ambulette industry is last in line with health care when 100,000,000 trips through out 62 counties are needed. But companies such as Masters Coach for 42 years have gone out of business because we can’t agree on what is an adequate rate to operate. What is it up to now 40 or 45 companies have shut down due to unfair inadquate rates. My company Unity Ambulette Corp for 41 year in operation and I can name a dozen more companies are at risk within weeks or months of shutting down Why does health care go unanswered and it takes westchester county to go on strike to get a raise to operate when I am willing to do the work but am cut off to operate in todays climate with inflation because the state wants to save money. My employees deserve a fair wage and I should be able to pay my bills. We as an industry with actual profit and loss statements to prove our point should not have to beg to do the work our vulnerable population demands. But a company to run Medicaid makes what? Millions? I and all my surrounding companies are sending a letter to get your attention to this matter but I ask you why does it take this face book post or a letter and numerous phone calls to my local politicians to be able to operate my business effectively. And no we can’t take more loans or lines of credit to sustain what the state has looked at as a burden these are real facts and real members of your community that vote for you and your friends on empty promises. Ps. No I can’t take another loan or credit line to accommodate medical answering service or the state of New York to continue operating I am maxed out.
