I’ve been invited back to sea 🚢

So I’ll be doing the opposite of what everyone else is doing this time of year.

In 9 days I’m headed aboard Caribbean Princess to the Eastern Caribbean and warmer water.

Princess put this stunning video together, and most of it I can vouch for firsthand from my Alaska sailing in August.

The ship, the coastline, Skagway and White Pass, all of it matches exactly what I experienced and I'm still dreaming of today.

The float plane is the one thing on my list for next time. It's consistently the excursion my clients ask about most, and after seeing this, I understand why.

You didn’t come to Skagway for the town.
White Pass and Yukon Route climbs almost 3,000 feet in 20 miles, on narrow gauge track cut into the mountainside, built during the Klondike gold rush.
I did the 2-hour version and it was worth every dollar. Long enough to get the full climb and the views, short enough that you still have time to walk the town after.
