Sadly, the city of Santa Monica will be shutting us down in 2028, due to neighbor complaints and internal politics. All of those people fighting for less noise pollution and traffic, will soon see how Santa Monica really works.
It will be a sad day, but please come and enjoy the airport while it lasts. We have an observation deck on the south side of the runway, so bring the family and a picnic.
