Kaolin Aviation Services LLC is a locally owned and operated small aircraft maintenance shop, located in industrial Sandersville, GA on Kaolin Road, just past the Thiele plant, next to the Sandersville Technical College's commercial truck driving school. Run by Ray Lawrence, who holds A&P as well as an I/A certifications, Kaolin Aviation offers a wide range of maintenance services, including but n

ot limited to, annual inspections on piston as well as turboprop aircraft, parts replacement, engine and airframe inspections, engine overhauls, electrical component replacement, inspection and instillation, electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics, as well as general maintenance. The most common kits built are Van's RV kits that are mostly sheet metal, however, Kaolin Aviation Services also constructs wood, fiberglass and cloth kits. Ray Lawrence has built or been involved in the building of over 16 RV kits, and has extensive knowledge and experience in the construction of these kits.
