Effective Sunday, September 13, 2026, Golden Gate Transit will make schedule adjustments to improve system efficiency. Highlights of this service change include:

🚌172X resumes. Due to high demand, express commute service between Santa Rosa and San Francisco is back.
🚌Reduced Friday schedules on commute routes 114, 132, 154 & 172; see affected trips at the link below.
🚌Combined timetables for 580/580X and 172/172X on print materials only. Online timetables and maps will remain separate for these routes.

On Wednesday, July 1, 2026, as part of a five-year fare program, most Golden Gate Transit fares will increase up to $0.25. All discount fare programs will remain in effect.
