A proud moment for Yusen Terminals! 👏

We are honored to celebrate our President and CEO, Alan McCorkle, as he received the prestigious 2026 Connie Award from the Containerization & Intermodal Institute.

One of the highest honors in our industry, the Connie Award recognizes leaders whose contributions have helped shape and advance global trade and transportation.

For those of us who work with Alan, this recognition is especially meaningful. His leadership, commitment to our people, and deep dedication to the maritime industry and local communities have helped shape Yusen Terminals and position us for the future.

And it comes during a milestone year as YTI celebrates 35 years at the Port of Los Angeles and looks ahead to a new 30-year lease agreement with the Port.

A day on the course for a cause that matters. ⛳

On Monday, Chris Rados, Dave Turner, Erik Crichton, and Bret Montgomery joined the R Giving Tree Foundation’s 5th Annual Cancer Support Golf Tournament on behalf of Yusen Terminals.

The tournament brings the community together in support of cancer patients and their families, helping ease financial burdens during an incredibly difficult time. YTI was honored to be part of the event and support the important work of the R Giving Tree Foundation.

Yusen Terminals was proud to support the 5th Annual Harbor Trucking Association Member Golf Tournament on Friday!

Christopher Rados, Craig Samoy, Mike Takayama, and Cody Herrin represented YTI on the course, making the most of the twilight golf event, and connecting with fellow HTA members.

Our team was honored to attend the In-Person Meeting with LA Police Chief, Jim McDonnell. We were proud to be a Silver Sponsor for this amazing event hosted by the Propeller Club Los Angeles-Long Beach.

This event provided an inspiring look at the impact Chief McDonnell and the LAPD are making; their unwavering dedication continues to foster safer, stronger neighborhoods across Los Angeles. We were honored to welcome the Wan Hai 513 to Yusen Terminals with a formal Welcome Ceremony in collaboration with the Port of Los Angeles and our customers and friends from Wan Hai, Mike Chang and Eric Chung

This marks the inaugural call of Wan Hai’s AP2 service (aka PS8 for the Premier Alliance).

We’re excited to have this service at YTI and look forward to strengthening our ongoing collaboration with Wan Hai Lines and our Premier Alliance customers. Thank you for the trust in our team—we’re committed to delivering best-in-class service to support this business and the shippers (BCO’s) that utilize this service.

We recently had the pleasure of hosting this year's “Freshman” tour for Yusen Logistics!

This is an annual event where we welcome a group of talented students from Japan who are preparing to officially join the Yusen Logistics team. This year, we were thrilled to host 60 students and give them a firsthand look at what happens behind the scenes at our facility. From container management to port operations, these future team members got a first-hand look at the dynamic world of terminal operations and the beginning of landside supply chain logistics at the Port of Los Angeles.

We're proud to play a role in shaping the future workforce of our valued partner, Yusen Logistics. We look forward to hosting the next group in 2027!
