San Luis Obispo Regional Transit Authority (RTA) SLO Regional Transit Authority is a county-wide public transit company.

The San Luis Obispo Regional Transit Authority (RTA) provides intercommunity public transportation. RTA's service area includes all of San Luis Obispo County and extends into Santa Barbara County to the south. RTA provides regional fixed-route service (RTA) and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) complementary paratransit service (Runabout), which includes Dialysis Transportation. RTA also overs

ees the administration of South County Area Transit (SCAT) which operates in the Five Cities area between Shell Beach, Pismo Beach, Grover Beach, Oceano and Arroyo Grande. RTA is a JPA (Joint Powers Authority) in San Luis Obispo County, that operates bus service which connects cities throughout San Luis Obispo County (and beyond) including Arroyo Grande, Atascadero, Grover Beach, Morro Bay, Paso Robles, Pismo Beach, San Luis Obispo and more.

Here is Luis, who can fix a bus and drive a bus too. Our mechanics may not be who everyone sees out on routes but their hard work is what helps keep the buses moving. Construction is finished on the new bus shelters at Cuesta College's SLO campus. The new shelter is now at the 'front' of campus and we start using this location as the bus stop on MONDAY February 9! RTA is very pleased to announce our new Employee of the Quarter Sergio! Sergio works behind the scenes here at RTA, making sure that everything is clean and in working order. With Sergio leading the Utilities team, our bus stops and buses have never been better. He's reliable, helpful and basically just really nice to work with. Thanks for all you do for RTA Sergio!
