This isn’t everything I ate, just a few of the unforgettable bites from the trip.
What’s your favorite Japanese food? Or what would be your first bite in Japan?

A gentle reminder: Your worth isn’t measured by how much you accomplish in one day. Some days, simply making it through is enough. 💛

📍Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) Trail, Nepal
I filmed this on my phone while trekking to ABC in Nepal. This was one of the many stunning waterfalls along the trail, and the moment I saw it, my first thought was, “Wow… it looks like AI.” But it’s 100% real, just one more reminder of how beautiful nature can be.

Did you think it is AI at first?

Everything you need to know before the Haleakalā sunrise, in one post. I only wish my camera had captured what my eyes witnessed, because no photo or video could ever do this sunrise justice.

Watching sunrise at 10,023 ft (3,055 m) above the clouds was one of the most unforgettable parts of our Maui trip. We woke up at 2:00 AM for it and I’d do it again in a heartbeat.
Here’s everything you should know before you go:
✓ You NEED a sunrise reservation. A reservation is required for every vehicle entering the summit district between 3:00 AM and 7:00 AM. It’s separate from the park entrance fee. Reservations open 60 days in advance, with a limited number released again 2 days before your visit at 7:00 AM HST. They sell out quickly.

✓ The reservation is only $1 per vehicle, but you’ll also pay the regular park entrance fee (or use a valid National Park Pass). The park is cashless. (National Park Service)
✓ Bring your photo ID. The name on the reservation must match the ID presented at the entrance station. You’ll also need your reservation confirmation. (National Park Service)
✓ Dress for winter temperatures. Even though you’re in Hawaii, the summit can be near freezing before sunrise. Wear layers, a warm jacket, long pants, closed-toe shoes, and a beanie if you have one.
✓ Arrive early. Give yourself plenty of time to drive the winding mountain road safely and find parking before first light.
✓ Weather is unpredictable. Clouds are part of the experience, and reservations are generally not refunded due to weather.
Was waking up at 2:00 AM worth it?
Absolutely.
