Vigne & Note: Music, W**e & the Magic of the Sagrantino Hills

Imagine this: golden evening light spilling across the vineyards, a glass of Sagrantino in your hand, the sound of live music drifting through the vines…
This is Vigne & Note, one of those wonderfully Umbrian experiences that feels almost too beautiful to be real.
Now in its fifth edition, Vigne & Note brings together w**e, live music, local food and the landscapes of the Sagrantino w**e road for five special events hosted by five different w**eries around Montefalco and Bevagna.
Created by La Strada del Sagrantino in collaboration with the Conservatorio di Musica Francesco Morlacchi di Perugia, each event pairs a guided w**ery visit and tasting with an intimate concert among the vines.

Drift Above Umbria’s Rolling Hills 🎈

One of the most magical events of the Umbrian summer is back!

From July 24 to August 2, 2026, the skies above Gualdo Cattaneo and Massa Martana come alive with dozens of colorful hot air balloons during the 39th Italian International Balloon Grand Prix—one of Europe’s longest-running and most spectacular balloon festivals.

Imagine watching the balloons gently rise at sunrise over vineyards, olive groves, and medieval hilltop villages, then returning in the evening for the enchanting Night Glow, when illuminated balloons transform the night into a breathtaking display.

✨ If you’re visiting Umbria during this time, don’t miss it!
• Arrive 30–45 minutes before takeoff to watch the balloons inflate.
• Flights are weather-dependent, so schedules may change.
• Early mornings are absolutely worth the wake-up call!
