✈️ TRAVEL UPDATE: TSA Agents Are Losing Their Chairs!

The next time you travel through a U.S. airport, you may notice something different at the TSA checkpoint…

The chairs are gone.

TSA officers who check passengers’ IDs and boarding passes are now required to stand while working, with chairs being removed from these positions nationwide.

TSA says the change is designed to keep officers more alert and strengthen security while creating a more welcoming experience for travelers.

But the TSA workers’ union is pushing back, saying the chairs provide important ergonomic and safety support for employees who already spend hours standing and walking on hard airport floors.
