Soco Moves

“Only one item” can still mean a lot of planning. Especially when the item is this size.

Measure the piece and check the openings, turns and stairs along the route before arranging the move. A little measuring is easier than a big surprise.

Loading a moving truck is a puzzle with real furniture in it. No undo button.

These are a few moments from our work archive. Planning the load means thinking about weight, shape, access and unloading, before the last piece reaches the ramp.

Are you the packing strategist, or the person asking if there’s room for one more thing?

A friendly face matters on a long moving day. A few smiles from our work archive, and a reminder that the attitude we bring is part of the job.

What made your last move feel less stressful?

San Diego, it's October. Why does moving a couch feel like hot yoga? Escondido reached 104°F yesterday, setting a daily record for October 7, according to the National Weather Service. If you're moving during this heat, start early when you can, keep water close and take breaks somewhere cool. Give yourself a little extra time and look out for each other. Crew photos are from earlier Soco Moves jobs.

Right truck. Right crew. Right move. 🚚

For this job, we brought out the 26-foot Penske with a liftgate because sometimes a regular truck just isn’t going to cut it.

At Soco Moves, Penske is our official fleet management partner, which means we can scale up based on the job. One truck, two trucks, five trucks, liftgate, box truck, whatever it takes.

Because when you’re moving heavy items, large loads, or high-value furniture, the last thing you want is a crew pulling up, looking at the truck, and saying, “Yeah… this might take a few trips.” 😅

We bring the right equipment so the job gets done safely, efficiently, and professionally.

Meet our long time customer Stephen 👋

Stephen has been with us since the beginning and has trusted Soco Moves for several projects over the years. This time, he called us for a large Rancho Santa Fe Estate project that needed to be handled quickly and carefully.

His home had sold, his next place wasn’t ready yet, and he needed everything packed into four 16-foot PODS. Our five-man crew loaded all four in just 6.5 hours, including a sauna, cold plunge, artwork, heavy furniture, and more.

When the job was done, Steve was so happy he wanted to give his own testimonial on camera.

We appreciate loyal customers like Steve who trust us with the big jobs, the valuable pieces, and the details that matter.

Meet Tuck, President of Arnold and Arnold Inc., a local San Diego Law Firm.

We recently had the opportunity to help their team with a large multi-building office move and junk removal project. From moving a heavy safe to carefully relocating boxes and keeping everything organized, this was the kind of job that takes planning, teamwork, and attention to detail.

Hearing Tuck share his experience means a lot to us. We know businesses are trusting us with more than just furniture and boxes. They’re trusting us to keep their move organized, efficient, and stress-free.

Thank you to Arnold and Arnold for trusting Soco Moves with your office move.

Moving your office or business? We’d be happy to help.
