American Cargoservice is an international and domestic freight forwarder headquartered in San Diego. We’re looking for a sales representative to build new client relationships and maintain relationships with our existing clients.

Responsibilities include

Developing relationships with new and existing clients
Generate and follow up on business leads
Selling our services which include Air and Ocean Export, Air and Ocean Import, Domestic Transportation, Project Forwarding and Cargo Insurance
Increase our client base by cold calling, issuing and following up on quotes, and making formal and informal presentations to prospective clients.
Monitor and follow up with all clients using CRM software.

Qualifications

Strong customer service and communication skills
Good organizational skills
The ability to learn quickly and work efficiently
2 years sales experience, preferably in transportation field.
Ability to build client relationships
Self-motivated, able to work effectively with minimal supervision
