Now that the tail end is complete its time to move into the next phase. The '56 will be moving to Moonshine Metal Shaping in El Cajon soon. The purpose of the move is to have Tim scratch build some flush mount skirts, adapt the gas neck filler to the 20 gal gas tank and frame, mount the 54 Kaiser rear bumper guard and more. During this phase I will also be restoring the window flippers and trying out some ideas for the dashboard, door handles and power windows. Stay tuned for upcoming photos. Ccc

We have been putting in time on our rides this past year and have been making progress. Sharing some recent pics of the '56 Chrysler. The hallmark of this car is the conversion from the stock Windsor rear quarter panels to '56 Packard quarters. This is a massive undertaking and resulted in sheet metal grafted from the '56 Chrysler, portions of a '55 Chrysler, namely the gas filler area, and the '56 Packard. Note the great work on tail light area. Lots of love in the process... enjoy!

Attended the 50th Annual Big 3 Auto Parts Exchange this weekend in the Qualcomm Stadium parking lot. Plenty of sunshine and good bargains on hand. A little light on MOPAR
and Packard parts but on the other hand the grounds were very busy with lots of looky loos and plenty of buyers. Had a chance to talk with friends and make new acquaintances. If you didn't make it this year don't worry because next year there will still be plenty of good deals on antique and classic car parts and much, much more!

These beautiful pieces will reside on the rear end of the '56 Chrysler very soon.
